The babe that'll soon be in your arms was the size of a seed not too long ago. In a few months the swaddles will be gone, an he'll be on the roll, another few months after that you'll discover her uncanny ability to speed crawl toward any potential danger, and somehow impossibly just a few months after that they'll be teetering toward their birthday cake and you'll be wondering where on earth the year went. That first month is so precious and fleeting. A new person has come and redefined your family. Your routines change almost weekly as they hit milestone after milestone. My goal is to come in and freeze those moments in time for you to look back on forever and instantly remember the smell of their milk breath yawn, the press of their hot hand against your cheek, and the bow of their skinny little chicken legs.
